Straight forward, effective campaign in a very tough market
After selling our first property with Dave 6 years ago we always knew we’d sell with him again when the time came. As we were selling in a tough Auckland market, which had switched to more of a buyer’s market, Dave was very clear about expectations and strategies he would use to give us the best chance of selling. As we’d already committed to moving in and had to sell it was more a question of how quick would it sell and for how much. We had a short but very effective campaign. In a market where lots of open homes were quiet we had multiple groups through every weekend with several repeats. Every week when we’d catch up with Dave and Nicky there would be new updates from potential buyers and what I appreciated was the excellent feedback details coming through each week. I also get the impression Dave tailors his approach to every vendor. I didn’t want to be inundated with constant comparisons and analysis from other priorities as ultimately the market was going to dictate it for us. Dave was excellent at giving us the updates and key information we needed to know without being overwhelming. I’ve always been terrified of auctions but the key takeaway for us and measure of success was that we went to auction night with multiple registered bidders who came prepared to buy and ultimately we sold our beloved home under the hammer with some competitive bidding which, in this current market, definitely exceeded my expectations. I cannot recommend Dave and his team enough. If I was ever buying or selling in the area again there’s no question about who I’d be talking to. I wouldn’t look eisewhere.
