We worked primarily with Clarissa on the actual sale of this property and with Shelley on managing the first offer. Compared to other agents I've worked with I found both Shelley and Clarissa were very professional - efficient and calm and excellent communicators. I felt they were working for us to get the sale through under the conditions we requested. I have had a previous experience with a different agent & company when I felt the agent was very manipulative and also 'switched sides' once the going got tough - that is, they were working for the buyer in order to push a sale through and get their commission. I would never use that agent or company again - but I would use Harcourts again.

Looking back on the process now we would not do the auction process and would have preferred to go down the track of "offers" as speaking to other buyers not everyone has the confidence to do the auction process and we feel we missed out on opportunities from potential buyers. But the situation we were in we did have a deadline to work to with the purchase of our other property that we had signed up for so didn't leave us with many options and understand that is why Glenn had us do what we did.

The suburb we were selling in is a tricky area due to the possibility of flooding, and deciding to sell just as the fuel crisis hit seemed like a great idea... All of Tania's work has been top notch, from the online and print advertising, through to the open homes, and finally the constant communication once an offer had been put in.
