When we decided to engage Tall Poppy for our agents it was based on the rapport my daughter (who is co-owner of our property) felt she had with Tonya Kirkbeck. When Tonya said she was over-committed and would be handing over our sale to Vanessa I was unsure of how we would get on with this 'unknown' (to us). But I found Vanessa really was "One of the Best" - at relating to our situation and wishes, her knowledge of the market, and keeping us up-to-date with interest in the property once it went on the market. Her guidance in preparing the property for selling was most helpful and I believe it was crucial in achieving the satisfactory sale price we did. She was also of invaluable assistance in her assessment of properties we were considering buying. So, over all, I don't believe anyone could have done a better job for us.

Vanessa and Steve were great. Very positive and engaging. Very professional. Not pushy. Really felt they worked for us. Definitely recommend them both.

Sometimes in life you get lucky. On various holidays I watched the Tall Poppy office being built and later would grab a coffee out the front. When the time came to seek an Agent I rang Tall Poppy Paraparaumu first and had the good luck to speak with Vanessa and Steven. They knew the market and were easy to deal with.... I never made the other four calls on my list. They had their finger on the pulse in a changing market and tried a number of innovative marketing ideas. The professionalism was second to none. It is worth pointing out that this process started in Covid times, I'm over 5000kms away, and acting as an executor/trustee. In this light communication was vitally important ..... they excelled with email, phone and very detailed vendor reports. I felt they were always working hard on my behalf ... they said they would go above and beyond, and certainly delivered on that promise!!

Vanessa never stops and is always smiling. She goes out of her way to understand people and their needs. She is competent and capable. She is also a detail person and on top of the legal requirements. She is always smiling and confident.

It was reassuring to know you were only a phone call away to talk through any issues regarding selling my property. You made it a smooth process and I am grateful for your assistance, expertise and thoughtfulness to ensure a good result was achieved.

We couldn't have asked for better than Vanessa and Steven to sell our family home as we relocated cities. They took the time to get to know us and our goals for selling. They actually asked and listened to what was important to us, as well as presenting sound advice. They have excellent relationship building skills and professionalism, great work ethic, and got an amazing result for us in a slower market. They also helped us to get through the stress of selling and moving, encouraging us to back ourselves and what we thought our home was worth.
