About Shona Experience & Knowledge... Shona has been involved with the real estate industry for 20 years. Her interest with real estate began when she owned up to eight rental investment properties. Shona drew a wealth of knowledge during this time and decided to train professionally as a Property Manager. Shona’s first four years were initially working as a Rental Property Manager. She built this business to a substantial management level and grew a large client database. Shona still works with most of these clients today. The real estate industry is about working closely with a client and achieving, or surpassing the results expected. No two clients are the same and Shona likes to adapt her business to work at an individual level. For Shona it was a natural transition to progress towards a sales and marketing role. Again, she built a business which continued to grow and expand with each year. Shona joined Harcourts Real Estate in 2010 as a Sales and Marketing Consultant and continued with this role for five years. Shona has a genuine interest in real estate and keeps a close eye on the market trends. Real estate is more of a lifestyle than an employment choice. It is a demanding position, but very rewarding when developing relationships with both sellers and buyers. These relationships can build and continue for several years. Prior to her involvement in the real estate industry Shona worked in sales and marketing with the ANZ Bank. She has also owned and operated a “fine dining” restaurant in Dunedin, Otago. Excellent communicator, and with you all the way

Shona goes above and beyond to help, and I cannot recommend working with her and Renee enough. Selling a property when you live in a different island is hard enough, but Shona made this easy and straight forward. Whether it is help with other professionals you need e.g. if you want to stage your home, lawns and ground maintenance; she is able to guide you through options and contacts of who is available for you to use. Shona kept me informed throughout the entire process, was very supportive of our family and helped us step through the sale, private viewings and use of the Harcourts wider team. Such a pleasure to have Shona on our team. If ever we have the need for an agent again in Christchurch, I will certainly be calling her first.

Shona was healthful and very professional . Being new at purchasing property in NZ , I was clueless. She represented the seller will. I should have had someone helping me. I believe I purchased the property at a reasonable price. But with a little more knowledge I could of got it for less. Once purchased Shona was always available To help me out. I have trouble using the internet with out that knowledge it’s very difficult doing business in NZ. Thanks you Shona for your patience and, help in pursuing this iproperty . Eric

Professional, straight-forward and knowledgeable

Shona and Renee sold us our new home. They were friendly and professional. We appreciated that they went out of their way to let us see the property for private viewings, as we do not live locally. They had good local knowledge and were able to answer all of our questions about the process of making an offer. They were great to deal with and I would recommend them.
