I couldn’t tell you she is, because we’ve never once met her. I couldn’t tell how good her knowledge is on the property market. She was not involved at all in the purchase of our house. Kaylee was the agent we dealt with, and she was great, yet on all the marketing etc. including the sale of our house, it says Rachel sold it?? Let’s give credit where credit is due. The house wasn’t sold by Rachel so we can’t comment on her sales ability. Not sure why we keep getting asked to rate her.
Buying our first home should have been a joyful milestone, but working with Rachel and the team at Harcourts Papamoa turned it into a deeply stressful ordeal. After going unconditional, communication virtually disappeared—we were left in the dark unless we chased for updates. As first-time buyers, we expected guidance and support. Instead, we got silence. Shockingly, we didn’t meet Rachel until the final pre-settlement inspection. No personal contact during such a major financial decision felt careless and dismissive. We were treated like a number, not valued clients. Concerns raised during inspections were brushed off, and the overall lack of professionalism and accountability was appalling. The stress we felt didn’t come from buying a house—it came from Rachel and her team at Harcourts. We're relieved to have our home, but the process was soured by this experience. We won’t be recommending Rachel or Harcourts Papamoa. We sincerely hope this feedback is taken constructively. Everyone deserves an agent who communicates clearly, acts professionally, and is genuinely present for both parties during such a major life event. Buyers and sellers deserve better.
Kaylee had superb comms with us as buyers, which felt refreshing after having to chase lacklustre agents for information on properties we were intersted in.
