Oh man, where do I even start with this guy…
If you are like me, buying and selling property is not something you really want to have to do very often! So, when we were meeting with agencies to discuss selling our place, I wasn’t really that excited about the whole process to be honest. Then, along came Peter Tuki, our real estate concierge in the bays! What an absolute super star!
Straight away it was obvious that Peter was more interested in helping us get into the next home, our forever home, rather than just selling our place and moving on. To paraphrase the man he said something along the lines of “selling your house is the easy part mate, helping you find one that ticks all of the boxes at the right price is the hard part.. let me help you navigate that first, then we can sell your place, no problem”
That really stood out for me and highlighted early on that he was someone that was genuinely interested in helping people over just taking an easy commission. This guy is very much about building relationships and obviously gets a lot of referrals from his clients and it’s really no surprise why.
We moved forward with Peter as our selling and buying agent. He was always available for calls and text messages at any time of the day or night and he always has a great “guy for that” when you need a builder, valuer, broker etc., which we found very helpful!
Peter worked so hard to market our place (creating some of the best video content I’ve seen in real estate listings). He was great with prospective buyers in terms of providing solid advice and options on the property.
In the end, we bought and sold through Peter and ultimately benefited hugely from his experience and guidance on both sides of the transactions. We ended up in our forever home and wouldn’t have been able to do it without “this guy” at our sides!
A few things that I learnt from this experience:
1. Get a buyer’s agent.. they are worth their weight in gold.
2. Get Peter Tuki, he’s worth twice that.
