We listed our property mid January 2022 with the expectation that it would sell within a few weeks. Unfortunately Jacinda and her band of gangster supporting highwaymen, who's sole purpose in life appears to be the destruction of the hard working Kiwi family, decided to cripple the housing market by wiping out 80% of potential buyers overnight. Needless to say this significantly delayed our sale and also meant that a sizeable potential profit margin was wiped out to boot.... maybe this formed part of the $2.8m gifted to those same gangsters that enjoy the support of the aforementioned highwaymen..... Anyway... whilst contemplating how i might commit suicide there was a voice of reason that kept coming through.... it belonged to Mike Goatley and this is what kept me sane over the following 4 months. I will be eternally grateful to Mike for his reason, his dedication and his knowledge which always provided a new perspective and gave us the strength to keep going. Thanks Mike... you're one in a million mate.

We always thought if we were selling our house we'd just sell privately, but opted to sell via Mike as it would make the whole transition easier given we were buying a property he was selling and gave us a single point of communication between all relevant parties. As it happened we listed just as the market turned sideways with the new credit reforms and our sale did take a lot longer than we had hoped. Mike functioned as much as a counsellor as a real estate agent for us through the process and when we had some technical complications at the pointy end of our sale his connections, problem solving and liaising with all the relevant parties was a complete life saver. If we were ever to sell again we'd go straight to Mike again without hesitation.
