Maria was very supportive throughout the process. I had to attend the auction on my own and Maria was there to steady my nerves. She has been very proactive and informative in this, somewhat stressful, mortgagee auction purchase situation.

Overall, Maria was a fantastic agent for us. As first-time house-sellers we had a lot to learn, and she helped us through each step of the journey with enthusiasm, gusto, and a smile on her face. Maria began by providing excellent advice on how best to present our house. She is eagle-eyed, and picked up on small details that we were blind to, but would be noticed by potential buyers. Indeed, there were a few small items on her list that we didn't quite tick off prior to the first open homes, and they were exactly the things that viewers mentioned in their feedback. Once our house hit the market, Maria worked tirelessly. If I were to describe Maria in one word, I would use "tenacious". She told us from the beginning that her approach was to hit the ground running. She would put in the hard work for the first few weeks in order to secure multiple offers by the deadline - and that's exactly what happened. She held weekly open homes during the four-week campaign, in addition to enough private viewings for us to lose count. For a little while it felt like she was spending more time in our house than we were! Even once we had accepted a conditional offer, she insisted on a further open home to secure additional offers in case one of the conditions fell through. Maria built a good level of rapport with us, and, we expect, also the eventual buyers. This left her in a good position to help when it came to negotiating a final offer, because she knew where ourselves and the buyers had room to compromise, and where we didn't. We felt Maria had solid market knowledge for our type of property (an entry-level lifestyle block). Her appraisal range was quite wide, which did leave us with a little uncertainty. However, she did justify why our property was a little hard to pin down, and ultimately the sale price was more or less smack bang in the middle of her initial range, and one we were satisfied with. That level of commitment before being appointed as the agent spoke volumes about her professionalism. Once the campaign started, Maria worked tirelessly to get the deal over the line. She was always enthusiastic, positive and available. Communication was excellent, and we received immediate feedback after viewings, whether good or bad. When feedback was not ideal, she still encouraged us and reassured us that the right buyer would come along. Maria consistently went above and beyond. We never felt like just another listing. Instead, we felt like we were her only client and that she was genuinely invested in achieving the best possible outcome for us. If we had to do it again, the only thing we would change is not wasting time speaking to other agents. We would go straight to Maria.

My husband and myself were very fortunate to attend Maria's open home for 58 Colombo Rd, we had been looking at properties in the area all day and just happened across the sign for this property, Maria, was welcoming, engaging and extremely helpful with all the information for the property, she encouraged us to put forward an offer even though we had a long settlement on our own property and did everything possible to help us secure the property which we very fortunately did.
