I want it on record that I had zero intention of buying or selling a house this year or next. None. Zilch. I unashamedly went to a wine and cheese open home purely for the wine and cheese. I left having agreed to buy a house. Within a week my own place was on the market. Within another week it was sold. Three weeks, start to finish, and somehow I was the calmest person in the entire process, which tells you everything about how well Kirsty ran it. I had genuinely no idea how the buying or selling process worked, so I needed my hand held every step of the way, and Kirsty never once made me feel silly for asking a hundred questions. Her market knowledge meant there was no guessing and no drama, her communication was clear and constant so I always knew exactly where things stood, and her negotiation skills got both ends of this madness sorted quickly and fairly. Thoroughly professional throughout, even while dealing with a client who "definitely wasn't buying a house" until suddenly she was. Adam, who co-listed with her, was incredible too, calling regularly to keep us updated after every viewing so we never had to chase for news. He even added lovely little personal touches, like a photo of a child's gumboots left on our doorstep during an open home — such a sweet, thoughtful detail. And Ursula, their sales associate, was every bit as amazing, always ready to help and just as switched on. Honestly the whole team communicated so openly and consistently that it made an insane three-week timeline feel completely manageable. Moral of the story: whether you're thinking of buying, selling, or just going along for the wine and cheese, give Kirsty a call anyway. She'll either find you your dream home or sell yours so fast you'll need to find a new one to live in.
