It seemed to take a while to sell our house. The first offer was quite low, but we accepted it with its conditions, but the purchaser wanted an unreasonable amount of modifications, so it fell through. Second prospective purchaser offered far more than the first but required finance, which was not forthcoming, so that fell through. Third time was similar - slightly higher offer, but finance was not approved. Fourth time, a multi-offer with one offering more than the listing price, subject to finance in 5 working days. We held our breath (well, almost) then it went unconditional, the tenant had given notice so settlement could be brought forward and it settles in a week. Whew!! Through all this Kath hung in there, hopefully not tearing out too much hair, and offering reassurance and advice. Thanks very much indeed, Kath. We'll have to do it again some time.
