We were on a tight deadline to sell a property to buy a house in Kaikoura. We took a chance by making an offer on the property, as we had a couple of people interested in buying our house, but we were still unsure that it would sell given the downturn in current property prices. Janice provided quite a bit of history about the property, including earthquake remedial work that had been undertaken. It was my first time selling my home and I am really lucky that I had Janice to guide me through this process. Janice was extremely prepared at every step, she is warm and friendly and was always available anytime I called. What I appreciated the most is even though she didn't have to, she went above and beyond doing things a certain way because it was best for me and my circumstances personally. Our sale was rushed as it became a multi offer, but then changed as other buyer pulled out. We were slightly disappointed the vendor was informed of our multi offer before our 1 pm deadline was reached - as we subsequently changed it.
