I bought my first home late in life; a 60 year old on a mission with zero experience in the process. Georgia was with me through it all, she went above and beyond - sorting other people's mistakes, steering me to worthy actions, listening when I needed to make sense of things, sticking with me when little (big) disasters struck. There were lots of joyful times too, the jubilation of an accepted offer, measuring for curtains and back to back viewings. Georgia and I negotiated all the trials that buying a house brings and tonight is my second night IN MY OWN HOME. Georgia came on a long journey with me to my eventual home ownership, for which I’m very grateful. Being an out of town buyer, it was particularly helpful how Georgia was able to read and pick up on the themes of houses I did vs didn’t like (even when I wouldn’t have realised those themes myself) and then whittle down my options for open home viewings based on that. She is incredibly approachable and never made me feel like any question I had was silly. She was also not afraid to say so and then go off and do research if she wasn’t sure of an answer to something which instilled a lot of trust in the information and advice she gave. The process of finding a first home can be overwhelming at times with needing to understand a lot about finance/ mortgage rates/ market trends/ natural hazard risks/ legal elements/ methods of sale, and it made a massive difference having Georgia there to help. She really took the time and made the effort to get to know me and understand my priorities and, while she wasn’t afraid to reality/ sense check me when I needed it, it made the communication a whole lot easier compared to an agent just wanting to get a sale. The length of time that she came on this journey with me is a real testament to the fact that she wants to help the right person find the right home.

Throughout the process we felt that she was being guided by our instructions but actively looking for exciting and interested places to view within our budget. While absolutely professional, we found Georgia to be excited and engaged throughout our search, and she really was a pleasure to go and view properties with! Georgia knew what was (and wasn't) out there in our budget range, and was there to offer her knowledge as we refined our search criteria, without pushing us in any direction. When we had found the property we wanted, we benefited hugely from Georgia's industry experience through the auction process. As first home buyers we know a little, but without Georgia's plan to get the result we wanted I don't think we would have got there anywhere near as quickly as we did. We are both extremely glad Georgia was there with us through our search for a home, and would recommend her without hesitation.
