We interviewed 4 different agents and had previously dealt with Gary years prior when we went to auction to purchase a property and missed out but were really happy with his service from that experience aswel. Gary was by far the most realistic in terms of pricing our house for us and also gave us the most advice on what we could do to improve the property to get it ready for sale. Once we decided to list with him we thought we would go with negotiation as we were a little unsure of going to auction however after going through the process we can definitely say the auction process got us the very best price we could’ve hoped for as it meant the bidders had to compete in an open forum. (We think the competition from the auction added an extra 35k to the sale price vs negotiation). We walked away start to settlement sold in under 6 weeks and the price was above what we were happy to accept by $35k!! Beyond stoked and a total convert for auction. As a person he’s generally just a good guy no BS and will give it to you straight and work hard to get what you need. Communication and regular updates after open homes and private viewings was super effeicient and we were always kept in the loop. We would definitely reccomend Gary he has a wealth of experience as an agent and auctioneer and we will be using him in the future.
