We recently purchased a property with Emma Baird as our buyers agent. We were on a limited time constraint due to work commitments outside of Canterbury. Emma arranged for us to view 12 properties on a Saturday , majority were private viewings, which we appreciated. We found a property that ticked all the boxes with an auction taking place in just 5 days time. Emma made everything go so smoothly, she was present for our building inspection, met us there again to take family members through the house for their opinion of the place. Emma came to the Auction with us, helped us through the whole bidding process, and the Negotiations after as the house didn't meet the reserve. We ended up negotiating a price, which was exactly the figure Emma had suggested the property may sell at. So she really knows the market. Over all Emma was extremely professional, helpful, and a lovely Person to deal with. I've already recommended her to friends and family members. I will only ever use Emma Baird going forward, based on the amazing experience we have received with this property.

Open homes always seemed to fall on perfect weather days / times, so the weather-gods must be impressed by her too.

We met Emma months before listing our home with her, we then randomly met at a couple of open homes along with Lucy. She would contact me every month or so to see how things were going, we then listed our property during this time with a different agent and was unimpressed with the service and the lack of priority and communication. After a month Emma called out of the blue and we decided to make the switch to Harcourts and Emma and Lucy. It was the best move we could’ve made. Their communication was amazing, they were always professional, their reporting was excellent and the extra effort they put in to following up prospective purchasers gave us real confidence. They were always honest and we could really see the effort put in. We noticed Emma doesn’t just stop after the sale at auction, we had some issues with the purchaser and she was constantly on the phone. Following up and trying to sort it out with the purchasers agent. Although we didn’t have smooth sailing this was in no way our agents fault and we couldn’t be more thankful for the extra effort they both put in. For these reasons I highly recommend. They’re amazing.
Emma is a very enthusiastic professional realtor which we believe is a great asset to Harcourts. Emma is not your normal 9 to 5 person who will only work during these hours, if you call her at 10pm Emma will respond your call. We felt we are in really good hands through the whole sales process. Emma is very transparent, honest and one of the most bubbliest personality you would meet and is very consistent with this. Communication and speedy times responses is one of many great assets of Emma. You never have to remind Emma anything twice.She has made this whole process easy and a smooth sailing.We would not hesitate to recommend or use Emma in the very near future.
