We were impressed with Diana’s friendly and professional manner from when we first met her for a market appraisal of our house. When we decided to go ahead and sell, she seemed the logical choice of agent. As first time sellers we were nervous at the thought of the auction process but Diana reassured us that she would take care of the ‘scary bits’ and we put our trust in her expertise that this was the best way to sell our property. She was right, other than a few nerves on the day of the auction, the process was almost stress-free – we weren’t waiting for offers to come in and we knew the day that our house was going to sell (which it did!). Diana personally attended all of our open homes and kept in regular contact and we really felt that she was working for us as the vendor to achieve the best possible outcome.

We have dealt with Diana on a number of occasions buying property in the 'old' Franklin area. Diana really knows the whole area well. We initially invited Diana to sell our house as Katie was a former employee at Barfoot and had seen Diana as one of the top agents, we had also noticed she had several listings in the Anselmi Ridge area that all seemed to be selling. Upon initial meeting we strongly expressed that we did not want to go to auction, Diana insisted that this was a great option and it would sell and have plenty of buyers on the day. We said no but she insisted more and more towards this option, eventually we reluctantly agreed. The next issue was the marketing, it wasn't clearly explained to us until possibly the 3rd or 4th time requesting further information. Start of open homes was good as there was a steady flow of people through, but then we were getting direct phone calls from different Barfoot agents wanting to make times to view. We asked Diana if they could all go through her but this was not agreed to as it "wasn't the way we do it". This got tiresome very quickly. As a result we started to get proaction offers, we had set a reserve price and expressed our range for offers. The offers coming in were well under our range and the reserve, these were nothing to chase from our point of view, but we were told we should consider them. We then went overseas and the auction happened, Dianna rang me but she had the times wrong, i did advise her of the 13hr time difference and not impressed. The house was passed in as there was no bidders at all, this was surprising as we were told there were lots and it would sell at auction. A few days later we received another offer, by Diana this time, i asked her if she knew about the other offer and she said that was between us and the other Barfoot agent. We thought this odd as it could have become a post auction bidding situation. In the end the first offer pulled out so we looked at the other offer Diana presented, again well away from reserve or agreed range. Diana exceeded my expectations when she got me multiple offers in just day one of the listing which says it all! She always had focus and confidence in getting me the highest possible price when i had doubts on what she can achieve. But she proved me wrong when she got me the listed price and exceeded my expectation by $50K! Highly recommend Diana to anyone without a doubt, she will not disappoint.
