Disappointing
Good morning, Dan,
I hope you had a nice holiday.
I’m writing to express my disappointment with the overall service I received from Tall Poppy. Although I have bought houses before, this was my first time as a single mum, and I have never felt so undervalued as a buyer.
I still have your sign in my carport a week after settlement. Throughout the entire process, I experienced very little communication. I had to chase down paperwork, request to schedule the final inspection, and follow up on account details to pay you your commission.
I found it surprising that I received seven emails asking me to "rate my agent." I would have expected more effort in communicating with me throughout the process. I chose to wait until everything was complete before submitting my review.
Interestingly, my sister and her husband bought their first home the same week and had a fantastic experience. It’s disappointing that, as a first-time buyer as a single mother, I did not receive the same level of appreciation and support.
Furthermore, I expected more assistance from your coworker, Rick. He did not take the time to understand the property to be able to answer my questions during the final inspection. Honestly, I felt as though I was wasting his time.
I anticipated a higher standard of service, especially from a company with a tagline like “shaking things up, doing things better. Reimagining real estate.”
I would appreciate seeing the sold sign off my property as soon as possible.
I'm not typically one to write negative reviews, but this experience has been very underwhelming, and for such a significant purchase, it’s truly disappointing.
Kind regards,
Josephine Brown
