Ben was fantastic working with us and our limited time frame for viewing. He was also great at communicating with not only us but our daughter as well. We were always kept in the loop during negotiations and this made a difference to the outcome. Ben made the whole process of buying a property a lot less daunting than it could have been. Ben is such an easy going and likeable person, someone who is easy to converse with, and interacts well at all levels. He is proactive in his planning, very efficient, pays attention to detail and prides himself in getting tasks completed timeously. Ben has an excellent knowledge of the local market and was able to easily determine the advantages that our house displayed over others in the neighborhood. At all times, Ben held our interests in the highest regard, and was able to negotiate price points at the appropriate levels. Communication is one of Ben’s strengths. From the outset, the plan was clearly articulated to us, and we were continually kept abreast of developments throughout the process in both written and verbal form. Ben proactively followed through with potential buyers and was able to balance discussions where appropriate, with various parties. Ben was very helpful and went “above and beyond” the call of duty in many respects. As the house was unoccupied throughout the marketing campaign, Ben made sure that it was always in a neat and presentable state, even mowing the lawns when necessary. There were also many occasions where private viewings were requested on days other than planned open home viewings, and these were all undertaken by Ben as if "in the normal course of business”. Ben undertook everything in a professional manner and whilst the sale was quite an exhaustive process, he did not at any stage, let his guard down. The experience for us was a pleasurable one and Harcourts should be proud to have an asset such as Ben under their wing. It goes without saying that we would highly recommend Ben to any party looking to sell their house.
