Sheree went the extra mile to help my wife and I, firstly when we called from out of town and questioned her about the property and then when she setup an open home that weekend to let us view the property. We flew in on saturday and viewed the property that afternoon. When we asked if we could sleep on the idea and meet back the next morning (sunday) at the property, with the intention of making an offer Sheree said no problem. Now i dont know many land agents that would do that but she did. Sheree made us feel welcome and nothing was a problem. We returned on the sunday and put in an unconditional offer that was accepted. Sheree always had great communication when selling my house. She has a bright/ bubbly personality. I enjoyed Sheree always keeping me in the loop with what was going on with my property.

After settling on a new build property purchased through Sheree (who was selling it for another agent in her office) a number of issues were discovered with the house (small unfinished jobs like missing shelves in cabinets and missing wardrobe rail). I contacted Sheree to let her know about it, knowing that the vendor was in the same office, as I assumed these unfinished jobs must have mistakenly been forgotten about and that the vendor would want to know about it, to organise to get it fixed. The response I got back from Sheree was that installing a wardrobe rail was not part of the build (that this would be additional to a new build - like curtains can be an additional expense) and regards to the other issues there was nothing more she could do to assist me. She instructed me to communicate with the vendor (her work colleague) through my lawyer. A couple of weeks more down the track after major plumbing issues have been discovered, someone useful, finally suggested I call the builder, as the house has a new build warrantee. I did some digging to find out who the builder was, had a chat with him and he was great. He said yes, absolutely those shelving and wardrobe rail jobs should have been done and completed as part of the new build and that yes, they must have been missed. He was surprised that the real estate office that housed both the vendor and the selling agent, had not passed on his details or called him to arrange to get the problems fixed. I am quite astounded at how this all played out. It would have been so easy to be even a little more helpful and my overall experience with this house purchase, would have been better. Instead, I am left feeling like all that mattered was a signed and settled contract. Would I purchase a property from Sheree again? No.
