We’d tried selling our home on trademe without success. We did not know Ron who contacted us and offered to sell it. Said he’d do an appraisal, suggest a value and market the house accordingly. Within two weeks and after one open home we had the house under contract and a week after that, went unconditional. Professional and easy to deal with.
We tried to sell our home privately to start with thinking we would make more as one does. first of I would like to say that it is hard work,not as easy as one would think. After the private sale sign was put up I was phoned by Ron who told me who he was and asked a bit about the property and to wish me luck, "yeah hes a Real Estate agent" so he did ask if he could ring me in a few weeks to see how it was going and if he could help us. He also sent me a Tall poppy brochure and stuff to look at. My wife and I did 3 Open homes, we advertised on Trade Me and had about 300 or so views over the 3 weeks and had a few dribs and drabs coming through,nothing really to excite oneself for the time put in. Ron true to his word phoned back so we decided to sit down and have a chat with him. Once he explained who he was and how he was going to go about selling our property we decided to go with him. 2 weeks later Ron had his first Open home, 2 days later he came back with 8 offers on the table. Holy shit talk about excitement. Even with Tall Poppy's flat rate we still exceeded what we thought we would get. In all honestly I wouldn't try selling privately again, (I only only hope Ron's still selling)
