Chris and Sara gave me free advice even before I had selected them. This sped up the sale process significantly as when we chose viewing dates the paper work was well underway. I was selling in a difficult market and they gave an accurate reading of what my property (an apartment in Central Wellington) was worth at this time. Their attitude was always positive and realistic; they followed up on all who attended the two viewings scheduled; their negotiation skills ensured I got a fair price .within their expected range. I was never hassled; communication was always professional and timely. The Lowe and Co. support team kept me on track, responded to my questions about process, etc and I felt sheltered from anxiety about the selling process. Throughout the selling journey I felt supported and valued. I would recommend this team to others selling their property becasue it was such a pleasant experience throughout.

We had an overall fair experience with Chris and Sara. We got very good advice going into the sale about strategies to inspire better offers, which is what initially encouraged us to choose them, and we believe this advice was ultimately worthwhile. However, given the service is marketed as premium and easy, we had a few more issues than we would have expected along the way. For example, attention to detail about the property's features could have been better. We had to go back and forth a few times to get the details right, including having to prove we owned a car parking space, which was discussed during the initial walkaround. At times we felt more care could have been taken in the marketing of our property, and in step by step communication with us - for example, a review of marketing material before publish was discussed beforehand but didn't happen, and errors had to be fixed after the fact. Queries from the team were often duplicative between team members, and we didn't get updates before signs went up, and so on. We felt our listing write up lacked oomph compared with others. And understandably, the market being in a bit of a slump at the moment meant we didn't get the amount we'd hoped, and nowhere near the amount Chris appraised. During conversations considering offers, his memory of the appraisal range conveniently reduced and we were presented with a whole range of reasons why the offer was a good one, despite it falling well short of expectations set. So in that sense, we felt a bit played. We understand the amount we got was reasonable, all other things considered, but due to our own research rather than what Lowe&Co offered up. Ultimately we are grateful that our place sold quickly - this we can credit them with for sure. But the overall service could have been more honest, better communicated and sharper.

They gave me all the information I needed to get my house on the market and answered any questions I had while selling and after the house was sold. Also made offers of use of truck and other help.
