Rachel can’t help herself from helping other people. Whether it’s to find someone the right home, or as a Civil Defence volunteer, Neighbourhood Support coordinator, or chair of ‘The Centre’ – Ōmokoroa’s community shop which has raised over $100,000 in the past decade to give back to local not-for-profit groups. Originally from the UK, Rachel arrived in Ōmokoroa in 2009 with her husband, Martin, and their three young children (twin boys and a daughter who are now all aged in their 20s). She immediately fell in love with the place thanks to the stunning seaside views and friendly locals. People are the heart and soul of Ōmokoroa and Rachel loves to walk, read and roll up her sleeves by volunteering her time for good causes. She says the pace of life here is pretty hard to beat, and there’s always plenty of smiles and good coffee on offer! In the UK she enjoyed a career in finance, working as CFO of a print and design company, and Credit Controller at a brewery. Rachel became a real estate agent in 2012 and decided to launch Your Real Estate to prove things could be done differently in a kind and caring way while still achieving awesome sales results. Seeing people find the right home, and piecing together the vendor/buyer jigsaw puzzle to get the right outcome, is what she loves most.

Outstanding Service

We would like acknowledging the outstanding service YOUR team have provided in order for us to be made very comfortable about buying another home. We’ve certainly tested you throughout the entire process, but we never at any time got the impression from you that it was too much trouble. I’ve never felt that way before when dealing with agents and you should be congratulated for making us feel completely at ease, particularly after probably breaking the record for the number of times we visited Vista. We fully understand now why our family recommended you guys to us and we thank you all. She thought you guys were the best in the business and I think she’s right.
