Sarah has been in real estate since 1989. Now that makes her sound old – but she most definitely isn’t. Sharp as a tack and full of valuable experience, Sarah knows how to get a property sold. She lives life to the maximum capacity - remembering integrity is the most important thing in life. If you can achieve this then the rest comes simply; to have a lot of laughs, time for your family and time for yourself. Sarah’s real estate career started with Ball and Crawshaw. Her first boss, Richard Crawshaw, started her on this road - even though he did wonder how long she would last! Married to a farmer and raising 3 sons, she took off from Waerenga-O-Kuri to town every day and has never regretted a moment. The years whizzed by for Sarah and her husband Graeme. They moved to town and purchased a villa in Harris Street after 35 wonderful years on the farm. They wholeheartedly embraced their new town life and Sarah now travels 2 minutes to Bronwyn Kay Agency down by the harbour. Sarah loves the work ethic of the people she works with and feels supported by her colleagues in real estate, the admin staff and the property management team.

Company Owner and lead Salesperson, Ben Robertson decided to take a break from Real Estate in 2020 to focus on his own residential and commercial properties, having been personal assistant and sales agent to one of Gisborne’s leading Agents for the past 3 years. However, this is not where Ben’s career begun, starting out in 2010 in Christchurch he quickly learnt to navigate a tough market, then the Christchurch Earthquakes hit bringing another whole set of challenges which helped Ben to devise and strategize creative ways to help homeowners who still needed to sell. Carving out a niche in listing difficult or unusual homes to sell, Ben’s career took him throughout New Zealand selling & buying properties while building a strong network he would later rely on to benefit his clients. Moving to Gisborne after a few more years and experience within the industry Ben joined a leading local Real Estate Team and quickly rose to number 1 salesperson in his first year lamenting his skills and ability to be able to listen first, devise a strong plan and action it to ensure his clients are given the best chance of success from day one. While trying to purchase his family home in 2023, Ben realised how difficult and complex it had become to navigate through the real estate landscape and decided it should be and could be better. Starting his own Real Estate Company at 35, Ben has the unique benefit of being part of a generation that understands the importance of your word is your bond, but also embraces the latest technology to help ensure a seamless experience for those who partner with him to achieve their real estate goals. Ben Says “…Real Estate is no longer about just selling the house. In order to truly do the best by the client is to understand what they are trying to achieve in the long run. When you can see the whole picture, you can devise a strategy and plan that aligns with that picture. It can be the difference between a successful, enjoyable experience or not.”

I launched my Real Estate career with Wrightson Dalgety, quickly standing out in a field with few women and building a reputation for energy, integrity and results. I went on to manage a team, own my own company, earn my full license, and complete a Graduate Diploma in Business.
