Dave's market knowledge was good and we were given satisfactory information on local sales/expectations. Dave got the word out via social media and it was pleasing to see multiple groups through each open home! Initially we were recommended listing via auction and felt slightly pressured to pursue this option despite our desire to not use this method. During the signing of the contract we were working with another agent- Rachael Manning. We felt fairly pressured when working through the S&P agreement with her i.e. 'we're on page 10 now...' however we were taking the time to ensure we fully understood the contract before signing for it. We would of appreciated the time to read and comprehend the contract rather than being rushed through to sign. There also appeared to be some misunderstanding of a Deadline Treaty- the offers were going to be withheld from us until the end of the deadline. The buyers got our contact details from the contract but once Dave was made aware of this he took appropriate actions to remind them to go through him. We did feel pressured on settlement day with talk of early access prior to confirmation from our lawyers but Dave handled this well. The only thing we would change is not having the extra sign with words/photos as we did not have an appropriate locaton for this to be visible and people would need to stop and pull into the driveway to read/view. I think it is lost on an 80km stretch of road. Overall we were very satisfied with Dave and would not hesitate to recommend him. 5 stars for him but 4/5 for Harcourts Manawatu. Feedback for the use of Ratemyagent : we received several prompts to complete this feedback however the agents job isnt finished until settlement day.

David was a great help in the purchase of our new property ... buying sight unseen saw us relying on him even more than might be usual ...he was just so obliging and helpful every step of the way. We look forward to getting to our new home and meeting him ...outstanding service and local knowledge.
