This is the second house we have entrusted to Ange and Dave to sell for us, they gave clear advice and guidance and were open and honest as to what was occurring in the market. This allowed us to have realistic expectations and work with them to get to a result. They provided regular updates and were always happy to meet and discuss options. Would not hesitate to use them in the future or recommend them to others looking to sell/buy. In particular the military community, as Dave is a retired servicemen, they understand the community and additional considerations that come with military life and postings.
Angela and Dave Wray were outstanding to work with from start to finish. Their market knowledge of Bulls and the wider Rangitīkei region was excellent, and their appraisal proved to be the most accurate of all the agents we met with. From the outset, Angela and Dave were confident the property could comfortably achieve a sale price in the mid-$500,000s — a level of confidence not shared by some other agencies. Their belief was grounded in strong local market knowledge and ultimately proved well founded, with the property selling for $550,000. Their advice to obtain an updated CV early in the process was particularly valuable — again, this was not something other agents considered or advised. The existing CV was significantly out of date, inaccurate, and did not reflect the quality or extent of the recent renovations. Updating this gave buyers greater confidence that the improvements warranted the revised valuation. One of the real strengths of Team Wray is how well Angela and Dave work together. Having both of them at open homes, with one agent focused on engagement while the other managed enquiries and documentation, created a welcoming and highly professional atmosphere. When we raised concerns about initial Trade Me photos appearing fuzzy compared to other platforms, this was quickly addressed. Dave went the extra mile to help get my house sold in a timely manner and provided great advice on how the property could best be presented and the strategy for marketing and sale. He worked in with my property manager to arrange access to the property and get a number of minor repairs sorted. This was particularly helpful because I live in a different city to the house being sold and this saved me having to fly up to get the issues sorted myself. This took a significant amount of stress out of the sale process.
