The decision to sell our home of twenty-odd years had been creeping up on us for some time, but the usual combination of inertia and aversion to change in later life had stalled the process. When an ideal spot came up in a retirement complex we could procrastinate no longer. Diffidently we turned to Shannon and Shari to organise a sale, uncertain in a flat market what we might expect, and how long this was going to take. The pair rode to our rescue, organising all the necessary photography, advertising, staging and minor repairs that I had been saving for a rainy day. Not having to lift a finger was quite an eye-opener. Throughout the whole process they were a rare combination of cold-blooded efficiency when it came to dealing with paperwork but maintained a robust sense of humour and approachability in any personal interactions. Nothing was too difficult. A particular asset was their knowledge of local conditions and trends and how it could work to our advantage. To cut to the chase the entire process through to settlement took less than three months with a good financial result for us. For older people selling up is a majorly stressful event, which Shari and Shannon understand, and did their very best to alleviate. Thanks guys, we owe you one.
