Pros: - generally everything about working with Sheree and Gerard - highly flexible, almost always available for a call or to help us out - very informative and helped guide us through the process - friendly and easy to work with, really good people - extremely communicative to ensure we were always informed of what was happening, and followed up proactively (which helped when we were not on top of our tasks) - we really appreciated that they were not too pushy and generally gave us space to make decisions - negotiations always felt like they were between us and the vendor, Sheree and Gerard facilitated these conversations and helped them to go smoothly - often they would help us to clearly communicate with the vendor regarding our wants/needs, and vice versa, so we could always know where things sat during negotiations, inspections, various stages. Cons: - only minor suggestions, by and large they were fantastic - it is difficult given the pressures of the job, but often we had to answer calls (sometimes multiple times a day) during work hours that were a bit inconvenient. We could have set a time to call during the day that was more convenient and didn't require us to step out of work so often - sometimes it felt silly to have to communicate through Sheree and Gerard for everything. We aren't sure if there is a solution for this, but it definitely introduced delays and added stress

Our family engaged Brian and Andrea Childs to help with the sale of a small unit (company share) that had been vacated by a family member going into care. There were many challenges to get the property ready for sale, a task which Brian and Andrea both advised and supervised given their wealth of experience in sales in the Upper Hutt area. Some items of furniture were also loaned to update the unit's look and show what a happy little nest it could be. The sale was not a short "sprint" to the finishing line. Prospective buyers were followed up and the family was kept informed of efforts being made on their behalf. Like a steady middle distance runner, the finish line eventually came into sight and with a high level of professionalism Brian was able to bring the two parties to an agreed position for final sale. As a family we are extremely grateful for the persistent help offered by Brian and his cheerful ability to keep on keeping on when the sellers' market was not in our favour. We would have no hesitation in recommending Brian and his team to any prospective purchaser.
