Little did we realise what was going to unfold in the March of 2020. Our tenants had moved on and I took the 6 hr trip to Wgtn to do the post-rental clean and meet up with Paul to discuss options around the Sales Pitch. We found Paul very easy, approachable and he offered us some great advice as to the direction we were headed. We signed the contract and I left him to manage the dressing of the space, photos etc and start the roll out...then blam! Covid19 kicked in only 5 days after signing.... Like the rest of NZ..and the world - things stopped. Yet we are positive it enabled many people looking to purchase some time to really look at the available market. Once Aotearoa dropped to Level 3.... we had offers put forward within 4 days, and sold both properties within a couple of weeks. I was astounded at the time factor that it took to obtain an offer of purchase, which took a mere 11 days from the market date, to an unconditional cash offer. Also, the offer was at the high end of our expectations. The 2 weekend open homes during this time, and the use of a drone as opposed to newspaper advertising, obviously contributed to the final result. You also made the communication between ourselves very easy, considering the fact that we were based in mid-Canterbury, and you were in Upper Hutt. Jim was very professional the whole way through the selling process of our house. He talked us through the procedure he was going to use, was up front about the charges and how we needed to prepare our house for viewing; and he kept us updated either by phone or email. He advised us before he brought clients through our house, whether it was a private viewing or an Open Home; and advised us as to how the visit went afterwards and the client or clients’ response. Our house went on the market as a deadline sale, but just two days before our deadline the country went into Covid-19 lockdown. Robyn worked extremely hard to try and get us a sale, brought the deadline forward, and still almost got a sale across the line. But the uncertainty over the lockdown period and what that meant for settlement and meeting conditions meant it wasn't to be. But Robyn kept in contact with the prospective buyers and just a couple of days after going into Level 3 we had two offers and the house was sold. Robyn kept in regular contact with us updating us on progress. We can't fault her effort and the service we received. Many thanks :)

When we contacted Jim to give us an appraisal of our flats he presented us with a professional port folio displaying our flats with full details of the prospective price we could sell them for individually or collectively as one sale. After a number of meetings and with Jim's very good knowledge of the market we opted to sell the flats as one collective sale. Jim handled the sale with professionalism and kept us up to date with the viewings and prospective buyers his communicating skills were exceptional. We had a number of prospective buyers and through Jim's exceptional negotiation skills we were able to finally settle on a buyer. Jim handled the sale with full professionalism and helped me supply him with full insulation details of all flats, tenancy agreements of all flats and insurance details to speed up the decision process. I made the fatal mistake of questioning Robyn's ability to sell Mums house as I was going through a lot of emotional upheaval with the very sudden loss of my mother , Robyn then assured me that she was the right person to sell Mums house and that for reasons unknown the realestate market was taking a few more weeks than normal to settle house sales , then a potential buyer came along and very sadly also along came the corona virus. The potential buyer was a nurse working at hutt hospital so because of this sudden pandemic the buyer was having to work longer shifts , making it a lot harder to communicate with her , then Robyn bonds professionalism kicked in !!!, and after many hours of phone calls leaving messages, emails and txt messages the paper work was finally signed in a distanced situation at 4.30 on the eve of lock down in Robyn’s garage in Upper Hutt !!!. We as a family are extremely grateful for the fox terrier like work ethic that Robyn showed us and I certainly would have no hesitation what so ever in recommending Robyn to anyone to list their home with her and tall poppy
