If there were more than Five Stars to have selected in our rating, we would have gone higher! When Rebecca & Mel took this listing I am sure they weren't expecting to deal with such unmotivated vendors! We were luke warm on selling and consequently this meant they had to work that much harder - which they did. The consistent and regular updates to us on activity, their feedback on following up leads from Open Homes, and obvious understanding of what was going on in the wider market made it clear that they were serious in getting this one over the line. Both Marianne & I have been in sales for over thirty years and we rank Rebecca & Mel at the very top of their profession; so many sales people are in the business of just making the sale (and obviously, to be successful, sales must be made), but Team Stevens were about so much more than just closing the deal. They are firm but personable; consistent but not pushy; affable but not smarmy. I know they found us frustrating, because we were in no hurry to sell - but sharing that with Rebecca & Mel simply hardened their resolve to get us over the line. And that they did!! We were both so impressed with these guys - and the wider Remax Team.

We've been dealing with Tawny for a few years now and have experience working with her as a buyer and a seller. She is great! Easy to deal with, extremely knowledgeable, highly professional and very hard working. Tawny is also honest and ethical, treating both buyers and sellers with respect and fairness. As a seller we feel confident in handing Tawny the keys and leaving her to manage things (price, marketing strategy, etc) knowing that she will come up with good and fair offers on the property. She also gives pragmatic and affordable advice about presentation, and how to ensure a property looks its best. We took her advice about staging our (empty) home and believe this made a difference in showing buyers that this was a potential home, not just a building. What I really appreciate about Tawny is that, as a buyer, she doesn't over-communicate, but she keeps us informed with relevant and timely information. I also appreciate how she supports new and inexperienced buyers through the process to give them the best chance of being successful. This is not just good for them as it also works from a seller perspective in helping to generate as many offers as possible. House sales only work because you have a seller and a buyer, and it has to work for both parties. I believe Tawny builds a great relationship with buyers AND sellers, ensuring that both parties come away feeling that the sale/purchase was a good outcome for them. For me it is important to work with an agent that acts with integrity and who treats sellers with the same level of respect as the buyer, which is why we choose Tawny every time...and will continue to do so. Tawny was very approachable and went out of her way to make the property available for viewings, both for us and our daughter who will be living there. My parents and I first met Tawny at a neighbour’s open home, and sensed that she’d be a considerate, committed agent should my family ever decide to sell. What a good choice! As well as being totally professional with an excellent knowledge of real estate processes and the market, she was empathetic and thoughtful. Her communication was superb, with texts, calls, visits and emails to keep both Mum and me completely informed about what was going on. Nothing was too much trouble, and she never tried to pressure us to do anything – just gave sensible, clear guidance. We sold within two weeks, and got a good price that we think was fair for both us and the purchasers. Tawny was very helpful throughout our buying process. Tawny arranged for us to view the house at times that suited us - as we couldn't make it to the open homes.
