Open homes started off well but felt the house wasn't priced correctly, valuation was reissued at a lower price. Unfortunately the sale price was not as much as expected. I think the valuation was a little over inflated at the beginning.

We had a few agents around to value and discuss marketing but we found them very negative and thought it was more about them than us. When Sarah came she saw all the positives in the property and quoted a sale price very similar to my valuation. Ours was not a straightforward sale due to us going back to the UK and all the emotion that goes with any move. Using social media and all the usual sites . We received an offer very early the price was ok but the time frame did not work for us . We needed a certain time and Sarah listened and worked with the buyers on our behalf. We met the new owners last week with Sarah and they are so happy to start their new journey and we can now move on with the next stage of ours,. Moving home is very stressful added to that moving to the other side of the world after 19 years of memories in NZ which we have to try and fit in a few boxes and a couple suitcases.
