From the beginning Madelon showed a real interest in the house, pointing out features that she thought would be priorities in marketing etc. She took notes as she went around, gave a clear idea of how she would market it and why she suggested we do it that way. It all made sense and paid off. She made herself available any hr of the day or night to us as clients, but also to prospective buyer, by making other times to show them through. She got 17 tenders in, in I think it was 10 days which was amazing. She was patient in explaining things. In summary, we had confidence in her, she made us feel important to her as clients, made herself available to buyers, gave us suggestions, along with Lyn the house dresser, how to make it as saleable as possible.

Mads took the time to get to know us as a family first - to find out what our needs were, if we had any specific goals to meet and also to understand our cultural context. As we continued to meet and plan with Mads, we could see that letting go of our family home and moving into a new home was becoming more of a reality each day. Once the contractors were in, it was all go, and Mads did her very best to keep our anxiety levels in check. Selling or family home meant letting go of a lot of memories, however, moving into our new home gave us more opportunities to create new memories. Mads was a part of all this right up to the beginnings of COVID-19 and the national lockdown. It was such a relief to be in our new home before the whole lockdown took over.
