There are always many parts that make up a person. In your life there’s your family, your work, your interests, your goals and dreams. They all play an equal part in making you who you are. Most people almost fall out of their chair when they hear I am the proud father of seven beautiful children! With a family the size that Esther and I have, teamwork and negotiation are essential. Especially when everyone wants different things. Incorporating team work and negotiation into my real estate business is something I take for granted because I’ve been doing it for so long. Today I just naturally include it in my real estate business as well. You can see this through the results I’ve achieved. Being among the top achievers in the industry. Having the super team approach means my clients – property owners like you – get the absolute best price and best outcome when selling your property. Giving back to the community is something I regard highly. Today, I pray I may make a difference in other people’s lives through the community work I do – in my local church and through my charity work with disadvantaged children and a support network for elderly. With marketing and sales experience since the early 2000’s and a Bachelor degree in this area, real estate has been the best choice in my career path so far. It does not feel like “work” because I love what I do! This love and passion seems to get picked up by others it has resulted in great testimonials from my clients and customers. With my son Jerandy joining the business in 2019 we hope to increase this success even further.

About Jerandy

Growing up in a large family with parents who taught him there was no such thing as a free lunch instilled in Jerandy a strong work ethic from an early age. Even as a youngster, he was always on the lookout for business opportunities to expand his meager budget. Upon arrival in NZ from his native Netherlands while still in his teens, Jerandy started his own window-washing business. Through this humble venture, he discovered some universal truths about business. Charge a fair price for a timely, quality service. Be ruthlessly honest even if it means incurring a loss and treat every customer as though they were a walking talking billboard. Following a working holiday through Europe Jerandy returned to NZ and started working for his father, award-winning Patrick Stegeman undertaking marketing and administrative management. Jerandy has quickly demonstrated a natural aptitude for the real estate industry coupled with a natural savvy for marketing where he organises and uploads walk-thru videos and photographs across multi-media platforms for his father’s listings. Properties were targeted to specific buyer demographics using appropriate device-based or print media resulting in high levels of inquiry and facilitating high attendance at open homes that convert sales. The results speak for themselves with the Stegeman duo achieving some of the Bay’s most impressive outcomes after minimal days on market. Patrick is very friendly and impressionable.

I had to follow up all the time to ring to find out if anyone was calling off the advertisement etc. He wouldn’t ring me and say nobody contacted him and nothing was happening no inquiries for example. I had to ring him to find out that I found slightly annoying. but very nice person to deal with other than that and he got the job done in the end. It just takes out one person. Patrick did the negotiation on the price well.

Thank you Patrick and Jerandy for your professional and honest attitude and help with selling our apartment. You were always positive and persistant in an abysmal property market where others would have given up, organising open home viewings most weekends. You never lost hope even with no visitors.
