My house hunt stretched from Dec 2021 - August 2022. I probably started my hunt at the worst time…prices were peaking and banks were tightening their lending. I could not get a decent loan amount (despite having a hefty deposit in place). At the end of FEB 2022, being unsuccessful at getting the right loan amount, I took a break from house hunting. I decided to reapply for loans again in July 2022 when the CCCFA rules were purportedly to be relaxed. Gil was the only agent who stayed in touch with me the whole time and gave encouragement and suggestions on how to go about solving my loan problem. In early August 2022, I got my loan approved and I was thrilled that the house I liked (and eventually bought) was listed by Gil and Kim. Dene was fantastic to deal with, his initial appraisal was on point with the market. Other agents had pointed out a lower price would achieve a quick sale he stayed strong. He sold the place within the week of listing. Mum was unwell and he was amazingly helpful, offering to even help us with getting things sorted round the place. Great communication from Dene at every step and he has a super network of people around him.
