We originally met Pam informally when she came to give a valuation on our house....we were not really looking to sell then but we were curious. Her approach was very professional and not at all pushy. It was an easy decision to choose her when later, we did actually decide to sell. Pam outlined our selling options and gave her recommendation but left it up to us. Can’t fault the team at LJ Hooker Dunedin but especially can’t fault Jason and Lawrence. As first home buyers there was a lot of things we were unsure of. Jason and Lawrence simplified this for us whilst making sure we still attained the information we needed. Easy to talk to, always available by phone call and just genuine good blokes. We cannot speak highly enough of Jason Hynes as a superb, hard-working and highly knowledgeable real estate agent. When we were considering selling our home, we undertook a thorough investigation of several real estate companies and interviewed a number of agents. Jason was our first choice. At his interview, we were impressed by his wide knowledge of the industry, his energy, his marketing skills, and his friendliness. Although most houses under $1m seemed to have been selling quickly in Dunedin, those over that price were much slower. Our 21-roomed home was no exception: it took 15 months! Throughout that time, Jason worked really hard and we had a steady stream of prospective purchasers coming through. He was in frequent contact with us – reporting on the state of play at least once each week. There were times, though, when we became rather disheartened through lack of acceptable offers, especially through the winter months, but Jason was always there with encouragement. He constantly managed to lift our spirits on those occasions. He was always patient and never lost his cool. He was constantly prepared to go that extra mile. We found Jason to be thoroughly honest, generous and kind. He has an extremely pleasant demeanour and, following this professional relationship with him, we hope to count him amongst our friends in the future.
