I was very happy with how Tracey and Derek had successfully represented me as a vendor and through that selling process they knew and understood why I was moving, and subsequently what I was seeking and where. Once my home had sold I looked at many properties for sale through most of the local agents. Tracey let me know of two new listings, and one that was ‘resting’ and not promoted having failed to sell when promoted by another agency. Personal viewings were arranged prior to open homes for all three, and it was the third that I liked. The more I thought about it the more I liked it. A second viewing was arranged. Tracey and Derek had caringly matched me to my new home. Tracey subsequently negotiated price, conditions, and a settlement date that was significantly better than I was expecting. Nothing was too much trouble for Tracey and the deal is convenient and fair to both parties which is ideal. Tracey kept me up to date through the conditional stage of my offer and now that the purchase is unconditional has swung in to completing the paperwork. I have really enjoyed working with Tracey and Derek and their whole team, and am very happy to recommend their services to anyone who should be selling or buying a property in this area - one they know so well. It is a shame that I will not be selling or buying again soon and will miss the weekly interaction with KellyandCo. I think that we will remain more than ex-clients though - trusted friends, which says a lot about how they treated me. Tracey and Derek with professionalism and integrity develop enduring relationships which are to be valued and appreciated.

From the get go, Te Ataahua was welcoming and knowledgeable as we were on the search for our first home. We attended a few of her open homes as well as Derek’s, and was incredibly impressed with Kelly & Co as a whole. I had met Derek Kelly a couple of times at local community gatherings and thought he seemed like a good bloke. When anticipating the sale of my home I decided to seek Derek’s advice. He gave it freely and pragmatically - no one can predict a marketing outcome and he did not try to do so. It is an unusual house in a slightly remote area so there were no comparisons, and the real estate market was (and still is) slowing. And it is an emotional exercise to leave a home after 15 plus years. Tracey and Derek never wavered with commitment or optimism. Heading in to winter I even considered moderating the promotion until later in the year. I needn’t have worried.
