They really rolled out the red carpet...
From start to finish, the experience with Caleb and the team at Griffioen was outstanding. Communication was excellent across the whole team: regular updates, clear guidance at each stage, and really good seller-facing software that meant I always knew what was happening and what was coming next. It felt super organised and professional rather than reactive. On a personal level: the whole team was friendly, genuine, and a pleasure to deal with. A small but telling touch was turning up with refreshments while I was in the middle of interior painting; completely unnecessary, but hugely appreciated and very on-brand for how thoughtful and supportive Caleb was throughout the process. Caleb moved straight into action with the sale; with a few private viewings and an early offer before the property even officially hit the market! This immediately gave me confidence that the strategy was right on the mark. Marketing was strong across Trade Me and other online channels (including perfectly placed puns), generating good enquiry and healthy open home numbers. The auction process itself was handled brilliantly: well run, well promoted, and even half the neighbourhood was invited along (helped, no doubt, by Mr Whippy in attendance!). The atmosphere and competition this created absolutely contributed to a great result. All up, I would have no hesitation recommending Caleb, and his team, Jonathan and Allanah, to anyone selling in Christchurch. Professional, proactive, and genuinely great people to work with. 10 out of 5 stars!

genuinely great real estate agent
Jonathan was the most welcoming real estate agent we have meet. Right from the get go he was chatty and open, made us feel like we were welcome in the open home and not just walking around some strangers home. From then on he was attentive and kind, taking care of all our questions and needs. If I were selling my home I would want someone charismatic and caring like him to represent me.

Great experience as a buyer!
Purchasing our first home brought up some challenges that both Caleb and Jonathan worked through with us very professionally. It's common knowledge that the agent works for the vendor, but Caleb's ability to pivot to not only look after our best interests, but to go into bat for us and preserver with great tenacity was much appreciated! Genius marketing and expert communication
We bought a place. Griffieon were the agents. Immediately we knew we wanted Caleb to be our agent to sell. The reason? Such a genuine listener and no pushy sales talk. We sat down and Caleb helped us make a plan. We trusted Caleb and did what he recommended. Because of this, we sold in 5 days from when it was listed on Trade Me, above the price we expected. His quirky advertising hits the current market, no annoying trite sales pitch. Communication was clear and professional. If we ever bought or sold again we would hands down use Griffieon again. You cannot go wrong.
