1. Hiroko had a very good understanding of the conditions and restrictions that apply to foreigners purchasing property in NZ. She carefully selected properties that we were able to purchase and that also matched our preferences and requirements. Each of the properties she introduced had its own unique features and was very attractive in its own way. We were very grateful for how efficiently she arranged the property viewings. Her excellent organization allowed us to make the most of our limited time in Auckland. 2. She provided excellent communication and acted as a smooth bridge between the seller and us throughout the purchasing process. The legal process in NZ is quite different from what we are accustomed to in Japan. The contract was very detailed, and we needed to ask many questions and clarify various points throughout the process. With her support, we were able to fully understand the details, make the necessary amendments, and ultimately reach an agreement that was satisfactory to both parties before completing the purchase. 3. She sincerely listened to our requests for modifications and made sure they were communicated to the seller and builder. Because the property we purchased is still under construction, we had several requests for modifications that were important to us, such as the installation of a Japanese-style bidet toilet (Washlet) and specific locations for electrical outlets. Hiroko took each of our requests seriously and communicated them carefully to the seller and the construction team. As a result, our requests were accommodated as we had hoped.
