We were recommended a number of agents from different agencies but Aitken seemed more confident of realizing more than we thought we could get. She gave us some valuable tips on cleaning up our property and put us in touch with a staging consult which made our home look good. Photos were excellent but the write-up was terrible - the market she was going for didn't eventuate. I wrote two versions for her team to use but she insisted on going with hers. The auctioneer was very good and in-spite of many homes being passed over, we surpassed our reserve with exactly the type of home-buyer we expected. We wonder if my copy had been used if more people might have bid but we will never know. Overall, the sale went smoothly and we were happy with the result and the quick settlement. The Aitken team seemed to work well together in a challenging real estate market and we got what we wanted for our new life overseas.
