As Wanaka locals, we have been quietly searching for the right home since we moved here in 2022. After an offer fell through last year, we decided to park our search, until late last year. By chance we attended an open home Matt was running. After a brief discussion, I believe Matt knew exactly what we were looking for and invited us to look through a home coming onto the market in the New Year that would suit us. Super helpful. Travelled south from chch to look at some properties, one of which was a listing of Scott’s. It didn’t fit, but he had a new listing coming on that day. It did fit ! Beautifully. Purchasing from another city is a little daunting and is a new experience for me. He was responsive and patient to every request. Really made what at times can be a difficult experience, relatively straightforward. Good dude to work with.

Sharon is an approachable, warm hearted person, and this translates both directly and indirectly to her exceptional skills negotiaing home sales. The recent sale of our property at 270 Beacon Point Road Wānaka was a great example of this. Our vendor experience with market conditions in 2024 revealed how we required an agent who could think critically about handling contingencies which were preventing either buyer or vendor from concluding a sales agreement. In short, an agent needed to go the extra mile and work with interest as and when it occured - returning to it across time if necessary to bring a sale to fruition.
