We appreciated the respect they showed us in believing in our property and felt at all times they were acting in our best interest, being honest and open, yet professional regarding potential purchasers. We were impressed by the professionalism within the office too, where we were able to be fully engaged in choosing photos for the marketing material. We opted for Sale by Negotiation with this particular property , so without open homes, they brought interested parties through the house for viewing by appointment. This meant they were alongside each prospective purchaser for every viewing. Lisa and Peter made suggestions as to staging options to enhance the home without over dressing it. They gave constructive feedback after each viewing. Their team skills meant either one or two of their team were prepared to be on hand to open up the home which was viewed many times during the week as well as the weekends. I recently sold my apartment in Newmarket with WeiWei Elder, from Bayleys Remuera. She is an exceptional agent, very hard working and quick to make things happen. She took charge of dealing with the staging company, showing them in and out, meeting with painters on site and talking to our Body Corp secretary to find out extra information potential buyers were asking about. She gave a very high estimate, way above other agents, which unfortunately wasn't reached on auction day, but was still above other agents appraisals. She also managed to have 4 interested parties bidding at the auction and we negotiated a fair price for everyone on the day. She has a natural flair and way of communicating with many different people and has a huge advantage in speaking Mandarin. This is my first encounter working with Wei Wei and frankly the experience has been both pleasant and fruitful. With the current COVID situation where all the borders between countries are closed and quarantine required entering into Auckland and returning to my home country Singapore. Trust becomes a very substantial component in this trade, as I have to base it on Wei's judgement and observant feedback to decide on the selling price as well as the variant to the sales contract and also the critical timing of the auction date. Wei is a 24/7 person who can be contacted at any point in time and will give a prompt update during the sales campaign and open homes on potential buyers and their special requests. All these minor traits and characteristics of Wei puts the seller updated on the progress as well as the direction of the auction outcome. Every property has its challenges and Wei bring in the fun of working with her and enjoy the fruits of the labour after the deal is closed. I am an experienced real estate investor and I know a good agent when I work with one.
