Our rental was vacant and we had trouble attracting new tenants at the rent rate advertised.

Our property manager’s rental assessment for the property was aligned with other properties listed in the district; however she identified to us that from the prospective tenant feedback, in our rent range, many were looking for more updated newer properties. She suggested a full refresh and offered to seek independent quotes for full repaint, carpet and curtains. All were obtained quickly and authorised by us. She then offered to oversee/facilitate the repair work, and during the work, secured suitable tenants able to move in as soon as works were completed. I didn’t have to take time off work or get too involved. The place looks great and we’re pleased to have it occupied again.
