Houses have always held a fascination for me. Ever since I was a child I always wondered what was going on inside. I think it was the fact that a house enveloped the people who lived in it providing them with security, safety and warmth. I still feel like that today, particularly about brick and tile properties! Prior to real estate, working in the UK, I was lucky enough to be involved in some of the largest manufacturing industries in the world. From the "buzz" of providing health and safety products for 10,000 workers on a Toyota assembly line to the individual requirements of Rolls Royce Aerospace work or creating a bespoke product for five workers who produced the revered Bentley motorcars, these unique opportunities were stimulating and challenging. I completed a diploma in marketing which has proved to be invaluable in my sales career. Good communication and an eye for detail help me to provide a complete rounded service for owners and also to ensure that tenants feel secure and listened to. What I love about Barfoot & Thompson is that it is a family business and their values are practiced on a daily basis. Hauraki has been home for me since 1995, so travelling to work in Milford is an absolute dream. Living in a household of rugby league fans I am involved whether I like it or not!
