It was an awful time to sell with stupidly low offers from people trying to take advantage of a flatline housing market. Peter did his best in a difficult environment. People don't value the work and effort put into house improvements or the value of homeowners who have taken good care of their homes. It was brutal to be honest. The auctioneer was dismissive and arrogant, he raced through details/locations of houses $1.5m or lower value - a disappointing experience for a homeowner and not one I will repeat.

The market conditions during the sales process made a sale very difficult to achieve, the agents I think put in a lot of effort producing reports of comparable sales in the area and suggesting modifications to the sales approach and price to produce a sale, open homes were held and agents gave feedback on these, heading into winter , I wondered whether it was going to sell but the agents continued with their efforts and it paid off in the end with a sale

We chose Mary to sell our investment property in Stonefields based on her extensive experience and reputation in the local market. Throughout the campaign Mary was committed and worked hard to achieve the right outcome for us. Looking back we did have a challenge selling with the tenant in the property. From a marketing perspective it was not ideal. If we were doing this again we would have ensured the property was vacant, had all the touch ups done, staged and looking it’s absolute best. We would also have been a lot firmer with our pricing and negotiability to get the property sold. We felt that Mary was trying to be the gate keeper on the price and this strategy did not work for us. That said we are extremely happy to be sold so we can pursue our next home purchase.
