I had to request Sam share contract docs, he thought he'd shared them with us He didn't provide an update after the open homes. I had to follow him up each time We sold our house well under his estimate, he should have been more realistic When we sold our house there was no clear comm from him that the sale had been completed. I had to ask if the house is now sold. No congratulations message Unclear around the terms on the title - he said the house is unconditional but there's still the title condition which made it very confusing He got frustrated with us asking valid questions, felt like he was forcing the sale and not acting in our best interests. Felt like we were just another transaction and he was working for his benefit. Not a very positive experience and I would not recommend him to any friends

We spent almost a year finding a home and out of the 20+ agents we dealt with in Auckland, Mary is by far the best. She is genuine, caring, honest and we felt like she had our interests at heart. It had been quite a tough process up with a few ups and downs until this point. From the outset, Linda was super responsive, easy to contact and had excellent communication. We have a couple of friends who are also agents, and they had advised us that Linda had a great reputation and was 'about as honest as it gets' for an agent. We found that experience to be true, as we were able to have really open and honest conversations with her as buyers. We raised a few issues with the house after a building inspection and she immediately sorted many of the smaller issues with the vendor. It really felt like she was trying to get the best outcome for both the seller and the buyer. It felt like she really understood our position as first home buyers, and offered great advice along the way.
