It was great to work with Helen Fu & Yin Yin. They were very knowledgeable and professional.

There was little effort made to actively market our property. Numerous interested buyers had attended with varying motivations. While most people appreciated the property, factors such as affordability and job security concerns in the current market influenced their decisions. Helen managed the process in a methodical and professional manner. We received weekly updates regarding social media activity and client feedback. Our goal was to sell the property and move to Australia, which we successfully achieved. The market is currently underperforming, so achieving a price near the CV is a positive outcome. Government policies are aiming to lower house prices, meaning the longer we delay the sale, the less we are likely to receive. Barfoot & Thompson’s Property Credit option, designed to help with marketing and staging expenses, can be somewhat onerous. Property Credit involves placing a second mortgage on the property, which may give potential buyers the impression of a forced sale, possibly resulting in a lower sale price. There was no effort spurred in marketing our property. There were many interested buyers with very different motivations. The property was loved by most people, but in the current market, affordability and concerns for people keeping their jobs did impact on decisions. The process Yin Yin followed was methodical and professional. We were kept updated once a week on the social media status, and client feedback. Our objective was to sell the property and be off to Australia, which is what we have achieved. The market is operating below par and getting anything near CV is good. The governments policy now, is to decrease house prices, and the longer we leave this sale the lower will be our receipts. Barfoot & Thompson's offering of Property Credit to assist in the marketing and staging costs can be onerous. Property Credit takes out a second mortgage on the property and gives the impression to potential buyers that it could be a forced sale. And you would get a lower price for the sale. Overall, we are very satisfied with our interaction with the sales team. Thank you once again to Yin Yin & Helen Fu.
