I approached Kate cold after researching the market and was initially impressed by her reviews and transparent pricing structure. You only get to sell a house once, so I wanted to be sure she would meet our expectations before hiring her. I decided to 'mystery shop' one of her listings—a property that looked like hard work in a flat market. Despite it being listed for over a month, she was still running the open homes herself and pitching it with enthusiasm. I was sold. Kate is unusual (in a good way). While many agents will abide unrealistic vendor expectations just to secure a listing—only to wear you down later—Kate tells it straight. If you aren't aligned, she won't take the listing.
