We would like to thank Shail for his excellent service and helping us find the right property we were looking for. We had a very strict criteria of what we were looking for in a property. There were multiple homes that Shail had shown us however we had not proceeded with them as they were not quite exactly what we were looking for one reason or the other. With the ones we liked we had our thorough due diligence that we had to go through. We commend and thank Shail for being very patient with us and our process and thus can say he is a very patient person. When it comes to flexibility and availability Shail has been great. He goes out of his way to make things happen for us. For instance, the time he worked at 10pm at night with us via video call to prep and complete our offer document for a house we were interest in, which ended up being the house in Weymouth that we purchased successfully. He is a great listener and this reflects in the Weymouth houses. It has most of the requirement that we needed and informed Shail when looking for a home i.e minimum 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, with one needing to be on the bottom floor & all rooms needing to be off a minimum specific dimension. With our experience with Shail we have noticed that his got the can do or give it a shot attitude that we like, even when it came down to negations. Shail has a very good knowledge of council rules and process which is a bonus quality to have as your agent. Being an overseas buyer wishing to migrate can be a challenge in New Zealand’s heated property market, however Shail had been very committed with us, which has led to our successfully purchases of our first home in Auckland, so commitment is nothing short off in Shail’s personality. These are just some of the great attributes, and our relationship with Shail has been great. We therefore highly recommend Shail’s service, as you are in good hands 😉

Our sales outcome started with a knock on the door some three years prior. Priyani was looking for prospective sellers and recorded their responses and offered to keep in touch. Getting closer to the thought of selling, Priyani responded with advice to creating colour in our garden, decluttering and became the general motivator to "getting things done". I learned that there was a lot to learn about presenting one's home for sale. She arranged for the auctioneer to visit and put us at ease with some concerns we may have had (proactive). The choice to use Priyani was unlike some agents with a more passive approach, Priyani pushed hard at every opportunity based upon her goal of a sale. When she identified something new to her or was unsure, she knew how to seek advice and get back to us. Business like and professional, yes. We were kept informed and updated throughout the process. I'm happy to provide support for Priyani regarding the sale of the house we owned for 19 years. We had been planning on selling and thanks to her knock on the door the process got under way fast. Priyani had a buyer for the area and our property suited. Two other companies had been our preference but what matters is who is putting in the effort at the right time and getting the results. By going to the trouble of getting to know the neighbourhood and who might be interested in selling, Priyani was able to bring seller and buyer together, helping to resolve issues during the process of building inspection, necessary repairs etc. We had met Priyani on previous visits seeking houses to sell. We also obtained a better price than a major competing firm had said was likely so we were pleased to have Priyani and Harcourts help with finding a buyer, showing the property, resolving problems and negotiating.
