Tommy was supportive in a way that didn’t make me feel any kind of pressure. He was transparent about the vendors pricing expectations, which was very supportive as a first home buyer, new to the real estate market. Tommy was flexible with his schedule, arranging a private viewing of the property, meaning I could bring a whānau member to view the property before I put my offer in. This was really helpful as a solo buyer. Tommy had a great knowledge of local council rules and consent requirements, taking time to explain things that were relevant to me and my property in a way that genuinely supported my understanding and didn’t ever feel condescending. As a wahine who didn’t have much knowledge in those areas, I appreciated this. A pleasant surprise to me was that my house in real life looked just like it did in Tommy’s real estate photos. Prior to viewing properties, people had warned me that they might not look as good in person, but this was not my experience when viewing my house. This was helpful, and meant my expectations of the property were met. I’m very happy with my lovely little whare. Ngā mihi nui ki a koe, Tommy :)
