I was a very remote seller, being on the other side of the world, while my wife is based in New Zealand. At no point did I feel the remoteness meant that I didn't know what was going on at the earliest opportunity. The house, as well as needing refurbishment, is quite quirky and wouldn't suit everyone. I imagined it would take quite a while to find a seller. Hamish managed this after one open home, and also exceeded the price I believed that we might get. Hamish was in regular contact by email, and seemed to be working at a very early hour going by the speedy replies to emails I sent late afternoon. I'm unlikely to be selling again in New Zealand, but if we're, I would use Hamish without any hesitation.

I have been really impressed with the work Jo has put into selling our home. My husband has dementia and her knowledge of this and the way she approached him in her banter and sharing of information was quite brilliant. This is the first time I have been involved in selling a property and Jo’s straightforward approach and honesty was just what I needed to feel secure in the action I was taking. The work Jo put into the follow up with the different folk who came to the open homes and those who came at other times was impressive. She gave us both very honest feedback on the potential of interest and people’s intentions which we appreciated. In securing the sale of our home Jo was very thorough and provided the buyers with all the information they needed or access to the answers they wanted. We are truly very grateful to Jo for all she has done; pre sale, during the tender and market time, and in securing the sale for us.

We are writing this review about Jo Turnbull who has been our agent in Milton for almost 10 years. During that time we have brought and sold 2 properties, have had multiple tenants and repairs (minor and major). As we live abroad it would have been almost impossible to have managed the work without Jo’s amazing service. I was fortunate enough to be put on to Keith and daughter Sarah to sell my parents house, by a colleague at work! So happy I went with them! Their knowledge of the local housing market was spot on and we had a cash buyer, who has just gone unconditional, after the first open home, along with a back-up offer from another couple!
