I was in communications for a few months with this agent. I definately felt that being the only woman in this transaction I was definately not spoken to with as much seriousness as the males present. It took months to sell my house, which if fair enough in this market but in every step of the house process not once did the sign on the street change, no under offer, no sold. I felt this was an oversight and made it unclear as to the process to the public what was going on etc. Seemed to me that the agent just wanted it sold and didn’t care to get the highest amount for us and was suggesting selling it at a much lower rate then what it was sold for after I stuck to my guns and didn’t drop it by his suggested amount. My experience with this taught me he was definately working for himself and wanted the property gone at whatever price and didn’t have my best interests at heart money wise. It seemed he waited for it to sell instead of actively trying to sell it.
