As a buyer it is important to remember that the agent is primarily reflecting the interests of the vendor. While our pre-sale questions were answered promptly, due diligence suggests that one get independent advice and feedback when making such a large purchase. Our experience went downhill once the purchase agreement was signed, when we felt as if the vendor's agent forgot about us. For instance when we called to request a pre-settlement inspection, we were given only one window of time to accomplish the inspection since the agent was too busy to help us at any other time. We would have appreciated if we had been passed off to someone else in the agent's team to find another time, but that was not presented as an option.

Having spent just over 44 years in our home we will no doubt miss the neighbours and the area but could not be more happy with the decision we have made.

Having placed an offer for a property on a home listed with Mary, I also listed my own property to sell through her, in order to streamline the process. This proved a good decision as Mary, and her team, ensured that both contracts run seamlessly together in terms of conditions etc. Mary’s professionalism and market knowledge is substantial however it is her business acumen, and that of her team members, that enable one to respect the process. There is one focus when it comes to her team listing your property for sale and that is that it sells. And it did, within three weeks of a so-called down-market. We were recently contacted by Charlie Horncastle about a house which had just gone on the market. The auction was brought forward so it was only on the market just over one week before the auction date. Charlie made sure we had all the information we required for a quick decision. He was professional and knowledgeable which helped us immensely. On the day of the auction Charlie contacted us several times to ensure we were calm and fully prepared. We are so grateful we had Charlie's help throughout this whole process, he handled everything professionally and with confidence. We are extremely happy with the outcome. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to anyone whether they are selling or purchasing a property.
